If you love pasta, you’ll be elated over a new shop coming to Inner Richmond that will eventually become a mini pasta factory, a retail pasta and pasta-making supply shop, and a restaurant.

It’s no longer called Hong Kong Lounge II and it’s no longer in Laurel Heights, but owner Annie Ho has rebranded the restaurant HK Lounge Bistro and it opened last week near Folsom and Seventh Streets.

Despite having some of the best wines in the world 50 miles away in Napa and Sonoma, a new high-end restaurant coming to San Francisco’s Inner Richmond District is focusing on hard-to-find wines from Mexico.

The restaurant is called Noodle in a Haystack, and its name could double as a joke about how hard it would be to find an equivalent craftsman of ramen.

The Rotunda at Neiman Marcus is closing indefinitely, and beloved neighborhood wine bar and cafe Orson's Belly is calling it quits.

"We're not looking at doing a whole revamp at all," founder Amanda Michael said. "Just a little bit of Jane brought into a lot of Toy Boat."
