Everyone loves food trucks. But no food truck inspires a caliber of the BTS-stan hysteria, diehard fans enduring long lines, and multiple thousands of ‘Going’ responses on the Facebook invite quite like the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck. And thanks to an official Instagram post, the cat’s out of the bag that the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will be at the Stonestown Galleria this Saturday, June 19.

“Hello San Francisco! The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck is returning to Stonestown Galleria on Saturday 6/19,” according to their Facebook invite announcement. “Come visit us near the Olive Garden between 10am-7pm and pick up some supercute treats and merch, while supplies last!”

Apparently no one told them that Olive Garden closed in December.

This mobile celebration of Hello Kitty cookies, cupcakes, and latte art beverages will take place after California’s June 15 "full reopening," but there will still be safety precautions in place. According to the official Message to the Sanrio Community Regarding COVID-19 — which utilizes comic sans font, despite the morbidity of the topic — the truck will employ “increased sanitation procedures,” which involve lots of hand sanitizer and cleaning of surfaces. The event is outdoors, which should put a bow on any lingering safety concerns.

This is not your only opportunity for cat food and coffee this summer. According to the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck schedule, it will have additional one-day engagements in Pleasanton (June 26), San Jose (July 10), and Fresno (July 17).

The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will be at Stonestown Galleria on Saturday, June 19, from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., at 3251 20th Ave.
