A grim discovery was made inside a Washington City vacation home this past weekend, as local authorities confirmed the death of a California woman. The Washington Police Department reported that cleaners of the vacation rental property, located near the 1200 block of North Bello Aly, alerted them to the presence of a woman who appeared deceased, prompting officers to respond to the call just before noon on Sunday, as reported by KSLTV.

Following the incident, two individuals have been named persons of interest by the Washington Police. These persons of interest are accused of absconding in the victim's rental car, which has since been found and is undergoing examination by an out-of-state law enforcement agency. Although the names of these individuals have not been released, the police have indicated that they were known to the victim and have stated that there is no immediate danger posed to the public, with no reports of further threats of violence, according to KUTV.

Authorities have processed the scene for evidence related to the crime, and the victim's body has been transferred to a crime lab for an autopsy.
