Jalissa Rae Lautaima, 16, attends Granite Connection School and has brown hair and brown eyes, according to ABC4 Utah. The outlet reports that she is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds, and has a heart tattoo on her left cheek and a nose piercing.
ABC4 reports that Lautaima ran away from home on Friday and that police issued an endangered missing advisory. Police describe her as suicidal and depressed, the outlet reports. She was last seen in a white shirt, black hoodie and red-and-black pajama pants, according to ABC4.
Anyone with information about Lautaima’s location is asked to call South Salt Lake police at 801-840-4000 and give case number LK2026-29029, ABC4 reports. For an active emergency, call 911.
Utah BCI says there is no required waiting period before reporting a missing person, so families do not need to wait to contact police about someone who has disappeared, according to the Utah Department of Public Safety’s Criminal Identification division.
