NCDOT is reviewing a Cintra plan to add a second tolled lane on I‑77 between Cornelius and Mooresville, reopening fights over toll costs, congestion and a possible $64M payback threat.

A phased repaving will turn Payne Avenue into a parking-buffered protected bike corridor between East 13th and East 55th, with paint, posts and parked cars creating the buffer.

Buda secured $10.48M in CAMPO funds to widen East Main Street into a four-lane corridor with a median, left-turn lanes and shared-use paths. The city says the project carries a $13.1M budget with a local match.
